My wife is a librarian and we have been reading these to my 8 year old every night. Cute little book with a few pictures. Great story with funny characters and some adventure that isnt too scary. Great for story time or readers 10 ish years old. Whole series is great.
My son loved the book on the sasquatch in this series. It was more lighthearted and fun than this one. While this one is a good book, it has a little more of a serious tone to it. The characters are still enjoyable and it is full of adventure. We miss sasquatch, though.
This is a great series. My daughter who is 5 loves them. She gets very into them and they keep her attention. We only read a chapter a night , but it keeps her interest with all the imaginary creature that they run into! I would highly recommend this book!
My 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter love this series. They will finish them in one sitting if I allow them to do so. So, maybe a little easy to read but we all need a break every once in a while, right?
My son started with this series in third grade and loved it, has has continued it on third and he is still interested and has fun with it. He has also read the Smells like Treasure and Smells Like Dog by Suzanne Selfors too and likes them.
My son is a reluctant reader. He loves a good story but often doesn't take the initiative to read independently. He likes animal stories but they often have sad endings that have turned him off. He's in love with this series and devours the books on his own!
