Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

These come wrapped in plastic! By 4 count, so LOTS of plastic. You can drop off where they take plastic wrap for recycling but best to avoid all together if not necessary. Much of the plastic that is sent to recycling doesn't actually get recycled. The paper itself is ok, falls apart sometimes.
I do not need butterflies imprinted on my toilet tissue. Seems like unnecessary manufacturing processing. Please tell Seventh Generation to do a neutral pattern for texture/cleaning effectiveness that will not be purposefully mischaracterized by narcissists and haters. Also, no need to refine the paper to white. Tell them to go with natural color that results from wood pulp. From: Bonnie Host, Doctor of Law
I’m having a little problem with the value for money. I’m glad I’m using a recycled product. I’m also glad it doesn’t shred as Kirkland does. But I am loading new rolls more frequently. There just aren’t enough sheets on the roll. But being a responsible citizen may be worth the money. Other than that, it’s a good product.
Whatever environmental benefit from using recycled paper for toilet paper was undone by massive amount of plastic bubble wrap around it. Completely unnecessary, it's not a valuable antique that was being wrapped.
I gave this product a 4-star review (as opposed to 2 or 3) only because the product uses recycled paper. I tried it during the great TP shortage of 2020 when I was happy to get anything, but I've only used one of the two bundles I purchased, saving the second in case I'm ever that desperate again. It falls apart something awful when it gets wet. That's good for the process of it breaking down after use, but it would be nice if it held together long enough to do its job.
This toilet paper absorbed the smell of incense, which I can't stand, from wherever it was stored before it was sent to me. Now my whole linen closet smells like incense, my towels and sheets. I really needed toilet paper and the boxes are so large, I'm not going to haul it to the shipping store to send it back but I'm not happy I have to live with that smell for months until I use it all up.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product considering it’s recycled paper. It definitely meets the criteria for softness and strength which, for many brands, you get one or the other but not both. The rolls are smaller in size than the jumbo versions out there so it seems like you’re going through a roll faster but the fact it’s made from recycled paper more than makes up for that. If I had to change one thing, it would be the method used to seal the end at the very beginning of the roll. It doesn’t release easily and you can find yourself with tattered shreds of toilet paper before you finally get it started. Otherwise, it’s a great product and worth using to save our trees.
