Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers, and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness.
I was expecting a mid grain Japanese rice, but when I opened the bag it was long f grain. For something with a Japanese packaging it was disappointing to learn that the rice itself was no where near what I was expecting. It was dry and lacked the stickiness that Japanese rice usually has. Would rather spend couple dollars extra and buy a higher quality product than to settle on this one.
