If you don't know the Lovecraft eZine, then this mega-issue might not immediately catch your attention. It's one of the very best 'zines on the web; editor/publisher Mike Davis has commissions original illustrations and dramatic readings for each tale, holds weekly round-table discussions on Google hangouts on various topics related to Lovecraftian fiction, hosts a vivacious online community of Lovecraft fans, and even puts together fun themed issues like the "Lonesome Night in October" issue (included in this bundle).
But the best thing about the Lovecraft eZine is that Davis has a discerning, critical eye for Lovecraftian literature. This is NO fan fiction eZine, with plots and characters ripped directly out of the pages of the master. Davis must read hundreds or thousands of submissions each month to discriminate which capture the mood, spirit and themes of Lovecraft, but do so in an original voice and with a genuinely new story line. This is why Davis has been voted in the top 5 of eZine editors on the reputable Critters creative writing/publishing poll.
This megapack will quench your thirst for Lovecraftian stories you haven't read ten times before! It contains the complete 2012 cycle of issues at a very reasonable price and in a convenient, beautifully-illustrated single volume.
