PRO:
-This is my 2nd purchase, of this same cartridge, via Amazon.
-I own a CANON PIXMA MG2922 ink-jet printer & scanner combo, which is 100% compatible and this item is recommended to be used with it.

-Plus, it's the SAME price as in the local "big box" style stores. So, a win-win for me and I don't have to even schlepp through any store isles!

CON:
-->Amazon PLEASE package this item in a box, next time; the padded poly mailer was not sufficient and the item's inner box arrived all smashed up, although not enough to penetrate the actual item inside of it.

CONCLUSION = I have been and will again purchase!

Canon ink is low yield (false advertised printing yield) at the highest price (they do not provide value to their customers).

Ink ran out with less than 100 prints. And that with changing the printer properties to print "draft" quality documents. It is a problem with Canon printers that I have complained about for too long. They are cheating us on ink which costs way too much for a poor yield. I got rid of the Canon inkjet and purchased a different brand laser printer. Printing documents on paper should not be as costly as Canon charges, and for that reason, Canon has lost a customer forever.

Pixma Is a Money Pit!

This is not intended to be a mark against the seller, as it is not the seller's fault that Canon invented a printer that guzzles ink like a V-8 Engine guzzles gas. To put it lightly, these cartridges will not last you long at all. I rarely get more than 100 prints out of one ink cartridge (and that is with my print settings set to 'draft'). Instead, I decided to invest in a laser printer, and toner. With that one toner cartridge, I will get 1200 printed pages for about $10 more than the price of this teeny, tiny little nothing from Canon. My advice, look for a more economical printer.

It doesn’t last long. Only can print 20-30 pages. I bought the printer when it was on sale, didn’t expect the ink to be like this. Not worthy the money. I’m stuck with the printer so I can only continue using this ink. Probably need to change to an expensive printer with better value ink to save more in the long term.

The ink doesn't last long at all. In fact, I print less now than i ever have ...color and black and while and I'm lucky if the ink in both cartridges last more than a couple of months of real limited use.
I'm sure it has to do with the printer. I purchased the Canon MX492 last year and I'm real sorry I did.
Compared to printers I've had in the past, not even including pro printers I've owned, this one is awful.
The color prints are terrible. Forget getting any kind of resemblance to original digital photo color representation.
It was cheap ...you get what you pay for.

Black ink more gray than black.

This was a brand new cartridge and I inserted it immediately. The color was more gray than black and the ink ran out way too fast I think after 40-50 pages. That was too soon. I bought remanufactured ink for less and I am getting really vivid colors. I am going to stick to the remanufactured ink (ValueToner) it costs less for the color and black and white than Canon and does a better job.

Kind of speechless. Seems like one of those things like cars, where, if a customer was to get a vehicle with a range of 160 miles before refuel/charge. WTH?!

I think the standard for base ink cartridge should AT VERY least exceed 100 prints, on draft.

AND I ONLY BOUGHT THIS cartridge like 3 months ago. So it wasn't due to age. Now it's dry.

Will not buy again.

We rarely print our documents started getting lighter after only a dozen prints. Soon after they were not even.legible! Not full of ink? Junk! We bought a Canon cart. from Walmart....back in business!! Buy local!!

This black cartridge lasted as long as those starter inks you get with a new printer. Usually those don't come in the original box. They come without the packaging. So I was surprised this didn't last me as long. I can use the 243,244,245 or 246 on my printer. Annoyed this didn't last long. I stopped buying ink cartridges without the packaging for this reason. I was getting starter cartridges that didn't last long.

We've ordered this several times for our printer and noticed it doesn't seem to be filled all the way. We rarely use color and my printer notifications just told me that it was already running low after replacing it on about a month ago. Not what I expected from a new cartridge that is supposed to last a bit longer especially when it's rarely used.

I print maybe 10 letter pages a week and it lasted me less than two months. I feel like that’s crazy for the price. Now I refill them myself.

One of these Canon Ink Cartridge's is supposed to last... "The cartridge yields 180 pages based on ISO standards and features Canon's FINE (Full Photolithographic Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology." We got a fraction of this. By the time I received it about mid May my daughter's school was almost over for the year and this year she is doing in-person learning. There is no way we printed anywhere near half what we should have been able to and now the cost has doubled!
