How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

So, we got the answer to.The question of where Zuko's mom went. At first, I thought they were going to stick with the reveal from the last book. This would have been nice but somewhat predictable. I'm glad that it didn't play out exactly how I thought it was going to. I wish we would have gotten more about Jess and Ozai's relationship when Zuko found his mom. I wonder if she will feature in the other comics. If she doesnt then it feels kind of pointless to know she is out there. Well, I wouldn't mind reading the other comics I guess.

I think you don't have to read The Search, it wasn't good.

Spoilers**

I'm glad they didn't go through with Zuko not being related to Ozai--that would have been thematically terrible. I liked the spirit. Everything else was unsatisfying, bad, boring. So Ursa didn't leave the fire nation, she just abandoned her kids as completely as she possibly could. It should have been easy to make this compelling. It starts by introducing us to Ursa and Ozais marriage being a nonconcensual arranged marriage, and a post mortem revenge against Romu's bloodline, adding layers to the terrible abuse in the royal family. But then they have this boring journey where the Gaang act like they didn't have any character development. Also they wrote azula as an actual monster even as a small child rather than a victim of her father's abuse like Zuko. Pretty shallow, doesn't seem to fit with the themes of the show. The face spirit looked cool and that's the best thing about this. The worst part is that Ursa doesn't leave the fire nation she just decides to change her face and forget about her children, consciously choosing to abandon them even in her own mind. Wow, so cool. Yeah I'm just going to pretend I didn't read this.

I was so excited to get the last book in the series, and read it just so I can know what happened. I waited a day in excitement after getting the for at two from a different, good seller that gave me bookmarks with them (super cute and unexpected!)

But when I got my order with this seller, most of the pages were out of the seam. I just decided OK that’s fine they may be unattached but at least they’re still here.

When I go to the end of the book there is pages missing, so I don’t even know what happened in the end!! It’s blah, I wouldn’t have cared otherwise, but why give me a book with no ending—> pages missing?!

These comics are interesting, building on a plot device essential to the A:TLA/LoK canon. However, their plotting, dialogue and art fail to really meet the level Avatar: The Last Airbender in its prime reached. The comic relief often feels forced, and the absence of Toph is almost entirely a result of contrivance. A series of dumb coincidences/fate/whatever lead us through the plotting as quickly as possible, and in the end Avatar Aang makes everything good, and the one gimmicky twist shoved into the series is written away by the end of this one. Sorry if I spoiled it if you only read the first two issues. You weren't missing much anyway.

2.0 out of 5 stars Keep searching for better stories

A very unsatisfying conclusion to the three part story. Plotlines that were used as cliffhangers in the first two are discarded in this volume or shuffled aside, and the story is stuffed with unnecessary side plots to fill it out. Conflicts and characters are inconsistent, especially Azula, who is violent and insane when the plot demand needs her to be easily beaten, then normal when it needs to progress unhindered. There is an entire point of the Mother of Faces only wanting to grant one request and then she simply shows up to grant the second one, no explanation for the change of heart explored. Fans of the series who hoped to find a satisfying resolution to Ursa's fate will likely be disappointed since most of the story is plodding and strips a lot of the nuance out of Zuko's complicated relationship with his family. People who are not already invested in the Avatar universe will have no idea what is going on and no reason to care for the characters from this series alone, so this is definitely not something to hand to newcomers.

Gurihiru's art is always gorgeous, however, and is consistently wonderful to look at. It shines where the dialogue doesn't.

It had me going for a while. Parts 1 and 2 were very good but we ain't reviewing them, now are we? I felt like it was very anticlimactic and pointless. Like, oh whoops Ursa became Noriko and can't remember anything. Zuko turns out to be Ozai's sun.:((((((((( Azula just loses her entire everything. I know right? Welcome to the world of Avatar. Reader of Books is dissapointed. Sigh... The 2nd star is for not failing on the first two. Four words: You can do better.

Just wanted to chime in to confirm that, as others have noted, I received the wrong book. My Kindle account shows the cover for "ATLAtS v3" but, when I click on it, it turns out to be some odd graphic novel I've never heard of called "Number 13". Hopefully, Amazon will get this fixed soon.
