I hate that some of the original Dr. Seuss books have been altered. My son is learning basic reading sounds and lower vs. upper case letters in preschool. I found myself constantly saying, "Big B little B what begins with B??" several times a day. I checked this out so he could see where it came from. (We were given a smaller, board book version but it's much different than the original.)
As usual, Dr. Seuss makes learning new things fun and silly. My son wasn't totally captivated with this one, but it's still fun to read the same books to him that I read as a child.
