Great, helpful book!

I got this to help my 7 year old understand his diagnosis better. It can get a little "boring" so we have been reading it slowly but he really likes it and I like having a way to explain ADHD to him.
Every time we read it he really identifies with the mini stories about other kids struggling with symptoms. He says he likes that there is a book about kids whose brains work just like his.
When we first started reading it we had a problem with him "blaming" his ADHD for some of his negative choices and behaviors but we kept reiterating to him that it's not an excuse or a reason to make bad choices, it just means he has to work harder than other people to make good choices and it seemed to stop.
This book is a great way to help you and your child explore and understand their diagnosis together I highly recommend it!
