I am a family therapist and was hoping for a book that would help kids process how they can't always have it "their" way. NOPE!! This is not at all a book about a kid not getting his way. It's more about a kid struggling with math. MAYBE this would be helpful for a child who is already having trouble in math, but that's not what the title insinuates. I HATE that this book perpetuates the stereotype that math is hard and that kids hate math. That part is not helpful at all. I am extremely disappointed in this book.
