How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Another great book!! I have read all of James Patterson's books and I have enjoyed them all. I am an adult and I do enjoy his YA books too. I especially like that I can share my love of reading and his YA books with my 14 year old niece and nephew. It is nice to read the same books, we enjoy them for different reasons, and be able to talk to them about them. If you have a young adult in your life try reading these books with them. You might be surprised where the conversations go.
A book I would recommend to others.

SPOILER: The whole thing with CP and James made no sense and felt contrived. Plus, I'm still left with the feeling of "I should care about James, why?" We meet him for all of maybe 10 pages and he barely speaks. I also have no idea what he looks like. Not to mention, Tandy can't seem to decide if she's calm and intelligent or OVERLY emotional. Plus her brother's personality keeps changing as well. I feel the only people who remain the same person are Hugo and Matty who are so one-dimensional (muscle heads) that they probably look like flat lines IRL. This installation was a total mess from beginning to end, with roller coaster drama that is unnecessary and boring after the fifth ridiculous emergency. Oh, and the part with Katherine showing up out of the blue made NO sense (How did she find Tandy? Why fake her death? Why not tell Dominick? Why did she meet up with Tandy by grabbing her at night on the street???). Royal would NEVER have taken a shot at a teenage girl for no darn reason (he supposedly doesn't like to get his hands dirty, and just WHY??????? Why Tandy for goodness sake?). Isn't Tandy afraid of hospitals (PTSD anyone)? Why does she willingly check into a mental health institution? Plus, does ANYONE realize the police CANNOT question a minor without legal representation or parents present in most developed countries? Do your research lady (I know James Patterson tapped out on this one and barely skimmed it before putting his name on it). Here's hoping the next one is better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Patterson Book I Have Read

Yes I read the entire thing. It should have been a short story. The plot never really starts to develop until you turn the next page and...there is NO MORE STORY. Just as the plot begins to start, the book just ENDS with nothing resolved. I tried and tried to find a plot, but there was very little there. I think this will be the last Patterson book I ever buy or even check out of the library. Patterson needs to write a final book about Cross, and simply retire. It is ridiculous to spend more than usual for a Kindle book and be this disappointed. Do not waste your money on this one. Without Patterson's name on this book, it would be a 99 cent book in a pile at your local drug store, IF it were to get published at all.

I was very disappointed with this book. I love James Patterson but this didn't seem like one of his books. His books are usually fast paced and this one wasn't.

This is the 3rd of the series of 4. I have loved all the books so far. There were a couple of "surprises" I wasn't expecting. That said I've got questions about the surprises that will need to be answered in the final book. I can't wait!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another good series by James Patterson

I have liked the "Confessions" series so far. It is a fast paced, easy to read book that keeps you wondering the next twist until the end. Since each book builds on the last, they need to be read in order. As a James Patterson fan, I like most of his books that I have read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Teen book but not too young for a great adult read.

I didn't know it when I bought this book, but this is a teenage to young adult audience book. I found the characters very well developed and fascinating. Yes, the heroine is a teenager, but it did not come across as too young. I also read the sequels to this book. They were just as good.

I removed this mess from my kindle after reading only part of it. It should be with the winged children for children. Not an adult book in my opinion. Not even sure what the point was, I guess the kids were looking for how and who killed their sister. Not for me. It is a waste of my time and should be merchandised as for kids.

1.0 out of 5 stars I'm done with 'Patterson' after this book

I have bought dozens of Patterson books but find his co-authoring to be getting cheaper and weaker. This unfinished book is the last straw for me. I liked the series but found this had a feel of being rushed to press to make money and very poorly developed. No finish at the end says to me, "Buy the next book to see what happens". No thanks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Liked the story line

This is the second book in the series, and I liked it from the beginning, BUT it ended abruptly at 90% done, leaving another book to be written. That stinks! It's okay to continue the series if there is one but the way it ended was not good. I think Mr. Patterson may be writting to many books with co-authors maybe he should re-think some of his books..
