These are NOT easy! Make sure to have close-cutting wire cutters to clip out the parts, which come on two metal plates that look to me to have been produced in a 3D printer. These models are a good idea, and metal is better than plastic, but I've barely gotten started, the first few parts having taken me awhile to get finished. Sometimes, it's not really possible just to bend over the tab after inserting it into the slot. That's because the tweezers (included) are just too thick and get in the way of the bending. I found that twisting the tabs works a lot better, though don't twist more than once or twice lest you break off the tab.
Instructions aren't hard to follow, and I must say, the metal has a very nice color to it. These are something for adults to do when they're trying to quit a habit like smoking. I'm still smoking, but every now and then I get to work on this thing. I'm not that concerned if I never finish it.
BTW, these would be fairly difficult for any child to put together. Some bending is required for the curves sections and the tabs aren't always easy to get at, as noted before. A teen could do these, but not under 12 or 13, I'd think.
