To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This promised to be a great book to share with my class but how will I ever know? It appears in my kindle as a complete miniature, which I am unable to read. Because of the landscape orientation-to get in a whole page (which can't be enlarged) the format has obviously been shrunk. Waste of money.
A beautiful retelling of an inspired and supposedly true story. The book's description gives the context, and I only want to add that the gentle text, the pacing and the expressive illustrations (especially the faces) combine to give this story a powerful and heart-wrenching charm. (The tears were running down my cheeks.) One other book that has inspired similar sentiments is Nan Gurley's Little Rose of Sharon, which is sadly out of print.
