To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I purchased these the books in one collection, but I wish I could give each book it's own review as a verified purchaser.
I truly enjoyed each of these books. I read them back-to-back. Sometimes when I read a series like that it begins to lose something as the series goes on. Not so with these 3 books.
The writing was exceptional and the characters were wonderful. I love reading books where good, moral people are the protagonists. Each of these books included some romance but it wasn't heavy-handed at all. It was perfectly incorporated into a broader, well-written story. The characters faced challenges but overcame them.
These books are also Christian based. However, they weren't preachy, but very uplifting. Definitely a feel-good series.
These are stories that let you feel you know each of the characters as personal friends. It shows how very deep a families live can be for each other. It also goes into how an adopted child is a chosen child that becomes a part of the family. Also a clean read that would not offend the readers.
I have these three books individually on my bookshelf, I truly like these stories so much that I bought the collection for my Kindle. I've read them several times apiece. I can't imagine being separated from your siblings the way Felicia, Hugh and Diana were and so young too. The end of the series was very wonderful.
This author is one of my favorites and that is why I bought this collection. I would buy all of her books if I could afford them. Her stories have everything you could want, mystery, romance, adventure, and most importantly faith in God. I highly recommend them.
