Hardly a book, not worth the price. Content is good though. Read in 30 minutes.

This book is hardly a book. Its a few pages long stuffed with some blank pages to beef it up, and some illustrations, which really messed with my reading experience. The reason I cherish Salinger is his descriptive style and how so many unrelated words can give you such a strong image. I hate that the illustrations didnt let me relish every one of Salingers words. I was also ecstatic when I saw how big the book was and then extremely let down when I saw how little writing was in it. I guess it is nice, however, to have a hard copy of some of salinger's old stories.
The content is wonderful, but there is nothing in it about the Glass Family. It definitely doesn't give you chills like his later work does, though
