So far I have been absolutely loving this series. It's a twisted, perverted spin on everything I love about superheroes and comic books. The characters have depth and personality, and you can wait to see how each storyline pans out.
And then there's Highland Laddie.
You won't care about the plot. You won't care about the characters. You'll muscle through it just to say that you did. I found myself skipping entire pages at a time, it was so mind-numbingly boring. For a series like this, entire issues of nothing but whiny dialog are just painstaking to read through.
Thankfully, this little foray to Scotland is a non-essential miniseries. You can skip it completely and miss nothing from the main story. Wish I'd have known this before buying the volume.
