Not always smooth sailing

In this installment of the series, one of the kids in Limbaugh's group of time-travelling students is struggling with two things: a school bully, and his anger and resentment over his father's deployment overseas. Their adult partner in these adventures, history teacher Rush Revere, comes up with innovative ways to assist Cameron in dealing with his problems. In fact, he incorporates the group's encounters with revolutionary figures and preliminary battle skirmishes with Cameron's developing understanding of how to deal with his feelings of abandonment by his dad, as well as his need to face up to the school bully.
This third book in the series provides more of what worked so well in the first two, with the additional benefit of further character development.
