Good “food for thought”, but a one sided view of aircraft maintenance.
Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2018
The approach proposed is this book is interesting as “food for thought”, but should not be taken at face value. The author is clearly biased and is mostly making the case for his bunissess, Savvy Aviation. The book should have had a disclaimer that Savvy Aviation benefits financially from the ideas pushed forward in this “Manifesto.”
The graphics are of low quality and have a large number of formatting errors. The text contains many typos and a few conceptual errors, in particular when describing the thermodynamics aspects of engines.
Preventive maintenance saves life, while maintenance on condition can have serious negative consequences. Take the advice with a grain of salt.
