Colorful happy story time fun

I read to my 4 month old every night and some books go over better than others. Of course she doesn't care about the words, but she loves the pages. This book is so colorful! I also enjoy reading the little stories to her. Plenty of opportunity to use different voices. Each story is fairly short. I don't think any have taken longer than 5-10 mins to read, even with me stopping to use silly voices and such.

It's a heavy book. If you got this for an older child to read themselves, they may have a hard time carrying it.

Misled on condition of book

I bought this book used, which is great, but the product description suggested light use with minimal wear. When I received the book there were torn and missing pages and library paraphernalia all over the cover. The problem here is expectation management. I was led to believe this book was in better shape than it was, and there was no comment about it previously being a library book. I understand it's a gamble to get a used book sight unseen, but be careful.

Being the father of toddlers I can vouch that bedtime can be a little bit of a struggle. This book is a great solution to helping with that struggle. My kids instantly latched on to the stories and constantly are begging for a story out of it. I have a daughter and twin boys that I have to entertain and this book provides a good mix of stories that appeals to all parties. The stories average right around a 5 minute read time which seems to be perfect for my crew. I would actually suggest taking a look at the entire Disney Storybook Collection if you are looking for good bedtime story books.

I bought this book for my 3 year old who loves to read. I personally really like this book, the pictures are great and the stories are very cute. The characters are the popular Disney characters of today, not the traditional ones. However, my son seems to get distracted before the story was over. They seem to be a little long for him, but I am sure as he gets older he will enjoy them as much as I do!

We gave it to him on our second night and enjoyed reading our Disney themed bedtime stories every night. If you watch the shows, many are familiar stories from episodes, but that doesn't take away from the enjoyment of them. We've been back over a month now and he still asks for his Disney book at bedtime a few nights a week.
