Normally, I love Nancy Tillman's books. This one, however, is not one I would ever read to a child. It is neither comforting nor Biblically accurate. The book is full of adorable children with angel wings, implying to any intelligent child a fearful awareness of an implied frequent death of children. Angels, in the Bible, always say, "Fear Not," because they are warriors, powerful, terrifying--the messengers of God. People do not become angels when they die. This book is not a good choice for grieving children, no matter how cute the pictures are.
