I’ve tried 3 different headsets since I started working from home. I have to call patients through an Internet-based phone line. The Bluetooth/wireless bone conduction headset that I started with never worked consistently. Calls were dropped, people could hear me but I couldn’t hear them and vice versa, there was a constant echo. Then I tried a wired gaming headset that worked much better in regards to connectivity, call quality, etc. but it was so painful to wear! I wear glasses, have sinus issues, and have very sensitive pressure points on my temples/ears. The large headphones were so uncomfortable, right, and painful. They also smashed my glasses “arms” into my skull which hurt and pushed my glasses off of my face. I could never wear them for long. These mono-ear wired headphones seem to be a great in between. They are wired, so no connectivity issues. The single headphone is much easier on my pressure points & glasses. And I find it comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I do wish there was a little more volume. But only having one earpiece, it’s probably to be expected. The cord is a nuisance. More than the gaming ones was. Not sure why but it’s worth it to have a solid connection. I also haven’t gotten the “answer” button to work while using my rdp but it’s not a deal-breaker. Overall would but again. Hope they last.
