Lots of run on

I read this years ago and reading through it again I realized I didn’t like it that much. This book had a lot of repetitive parts to it. As far as Lucas, he likes to say that he just loves women when really he just can’t keep it in his pants. I had forgotten that. At one point he says he hasn’t cheated on Jennifer since she got pregnant but that wasn’t true. He had a thing going with the witness that escaped the bad guy in the first book. Not his fault that Jennifer got pregnant wo telling him she was trying and she just sort of sprung it on him in the first book. Now in this one she all hurt that he has an affair. Let’s face it, Jennifer has some problems with her own moral values (or lack thereof). I also realized that I like the Davenport books that have Virgil in them but I am determined to go through my list and re-read this series. Sometimes you get so far that you forget how they got there.
