"If it is not in writing it does not exist" somebody once told me.

The book is more of a novel than a commanding "you have to do this and that or else!" It is reassuring. I like that. This is more like a brother talking to me as his sister, in a common language. I am so happy Dave is reaching so many people, who speak the English language. It got only 3 stars because it is not translated into Polish, Russian, and other Slavic languages that I know of.
The book is one of essential values. Mr. Ramsey has created a dynasty with his wife, children and grandchildren, without debt and is giving generously.
I did not have a family of my own when he was building his empire, until I married 2nd time some years ago. The movie, "Under the Tuscan Sun" explains well what my situation looked like. "The Legacy Journey" explains where my road is going. This book gives a sense why it is important to be generous.
It tells me why I must create a legacy for my grandchildren. Legacy is a noun but love is an action verb. The "Journey" began when I met 2nd spouse, my bonus-daughter and son-in-law and since the first days of my grandchildren's birth. I wish I had this book back then. But we somehow managed to build a budget with skimpy yellow pads.
I have a family to live for, a spouse to build a future with and look forward to grow old with, and travel in an Airstream.
This would not be possible if we would not create our little Legacy Journey together without ever knowing of this book. It is reassuring, however, there is someone of his caliber to put it all in writing. "If it is not in writing it does not exist" somebody once told me.
At 56 and 63, we are looking closely at our retirements and making plans how to follow it so that we can "live and give like no one else." It will still take a while, but we are on our way.
