An Enjoyable Read

I enjoyed reading this 2nd book in the Eminence Shifters series. This was Max's, Calder's, Axel's (cougar shifters) and Peata's (human woman) story. The main characters were likeable, as were the secondary ones. The story was plausible and the danger came from crooked cops who were tracking Peata. The sex was hot though not the main focus, their relationship was.
I did notice one thing though. When the crooked cops caught up with Peata and the pride and her mates rushed to save her. It was mentioned that Cooper, one of the alpha's brothers, was the enforcer. Now in the first book, Melanie, which was about the alpha and his brothers finding their mate, the alpha, Finn, said that his brothers, Hunter and Dane, were the enforcers. Cooper never had a title in that book. I'm wondering if the author forgot that. Since this is the second book in the series, seems strange she didn't catch that. There were also a fair amount of grammatical errors. Still a good book.
