Interesting, but Unrealistic for Most of Us 😞
Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2017
I have been suffering from chronic pain for over 10 years due to my scoliosis. After 14 surgeries, and countless pain meds, I still continue to feel intolerable headaches, numbness and weakness in my left arm and leg, inability to straighten my neck and head, and cannot walk more than 5 minutes at a time. The tx she suggests is nearly impossible to find, the wait time to see new Drs. and Surgeons, get appts. with pain management, and attempt to be prescribed medical marijuana are all a very lengthy process. She makes it seem so easy to just " take control" and "own" your scoliosis spine and that is far from being the truth. I waited over 2 years just to be approved for my S.S. Disability. I am glad she has found relief, but for most of " average joe's", our lives are filled with nothing but increasing pain, with very little help available, much less even affordable. There are a few interesting parts, but the book in whole will leave most of us shaking our heads and knowing that her results and recommendations exist only in an ideal world unfortunately.
