So I would've given this maybe 4 stars had it not been missing the piece that makes the mobile adjustable to fit your crib. If you have a crib that is completely flush and has no railing sticking out you'll be fine. But if its not completely flush your mobile will tip over and look unsightly. Luckily for me I was only buying this to replace a mobile that my nephew broke. I was able to take what looks like a disk off of the other mobile and add it to this one; that way the mobile was now adjustable to fit my crib the way I wanted it; making it stick straight up instead of leaning over and looking weird. One other thing I can say is that this one was a lesser attractive material. My other one was really smooth with a nice shine to it, but it honestly doesn't bother me at all and isn't something anyone notices. I will say that I like the choice of music and it really does get the job done at a fair price. So still a happy buyer since I had that missing piece. For those reasons I can only recommend buying this to someone with a flush simpler crib or to replace a broken one that has that adjustable disk.
Works great, just as advertised! I was hesitant because of the question above asking whether the "X" component was included (and so many people saying no??) but it absolutely is - you get everything shown in the product image. It couldn't be easier to put together. There are 5 hooks to hang components from: the ends of each arm of the X, and a hook in the center. I ended up also purchasing the [Extended Version] VicTsing Baby Crib Mobile Music Box Holder Arm Bracket Nut Screw Box mobile-Without Toys because the mobile I created hung down too far into the crib - parts are interchangable and I was able to add in the arm extension without removing the base clamp or reattaching the hanging elements.
