This story was a pure pleasure to read. It is so funny to read about all the toads the heroine went through to find her prince. The characters and their insecurities are something I recognized in myself and others. We all have flaws but need to embrace them and get over ourselves.

The author is a clever and funny writer. I liked the creative atmosphere. I liked the romance and how much nonsense the main character went through to find her true love. As a reader, I'm appreciative of learning new vocabulary, slang, cultural or otherwise...which led me to researching a few British phrases. As a reader, clean language and closed door romances are my thing and this story had neither.

A nice read with a few irritants. The heroine letting seemly everyone put her down while not standing up to them was a bit annoying but finally getting her backbone in the end and a HEA sort if makes up for it. But the toads she dated are really outrageous. But according to my sisters and their friend they do exist. So sad. A little swxy romance, probably 16+ range, at to the reading enjoyment

Good, but not my favorite from this author

I recently discovered the Sunwalker Saga by Shea, and read them all (even the spin-off trilogies). I also read the prequel to the Notting Hill series. As mentioed by another reviewer, the foul language can be annoying; I just ignored it because almost everyone I know curses more than I do. I liked the stories at the beginning about the awful dates, but I wanted them to disappear after she met Mr. Right. I even found myself skipping those sections because they disrupted the story that I wanted to keep reading. I'm still going to try the other books in the series out of loyalty to the author.

Fun read albeit a bit jumpy. Sometimes it was hard to follow the time line. The writing was good though and i enjoyed the charachters. It was odd how the author left her London friends out of the story at the end. I really liked Kev.
