I'm giving this three stars only because of the beautiful illustrations. We found Tallulah to be a bit bratty and pouty throughout the book. Tallulah attends dance camp, she loves ballet because she is the best in class and hates tap because she thinks she is the worst in class. There is a little girl at camp who feels the opposite about ballet and loves tap, and because the little girl doesn't show up for ballet class one day Tallulah thinks its ok to skip tap class since she doesn't like it. Within the last couple of pages the two girls become friends and realize that they can enjoy the dance classes that they don't favor even though they feel they are the worst in the class. I wish the book showed more of Tallulah giving an effort to try something new instead of being pouty and bratty towards the tap class and little girl.
