0.3 Ultra micro is definitely micro!
Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2019
One of the ways I spend my free time is to draw, but I enjoy calligraphy and am an avid journaler. Fine point pens are my mainstay, from 0.2 to 0.5. When writing in my journals, Pentel Energel pens have never disappointed, so I would've never thought to write a review on an ink pen, unless it was specific to something specialized to calligraphy, or artwork.
If you enjoy a pen where you can really feel it on the surface of the paper, and want a super fine script on the page, this is the one for you! But, I was surprised by a pen tip so sharp it feels as if it's cutting through the paper - it's not, it just feels that way. The 0.3 "ultra micro" is definitely ultra and micro, as in extremely thin, and I found it hard to read. I was so surprised bit it that I thought it was low on ink, but the cartridge was full. So I tried another one, and another, with same result.
It is just what it says, ULTRA-MICRO, more so than the 0.2 pens I use for drawing.
