One can get carried away buying the plethora of accessories that don't come with the original instant pot. Considerations: After food is cooked and there are leftovers, wait until contents are cool enough to cover and place in the fridge? I'd divide contents into smaller portion containers that don't take up so much space in the fridge. Or, a dinner plate or the lid from a sauce pan can be used as a cover. If you're going to bring it to a pot luck, just keep it in the instant pot with original locking lid (which has handles that allow the lid to be hooked to either side of the instant pot) -or- like me, once this pandemic is over, I plan to transfer cooked contents to one of my smaller crock pots--with side lock latches--so I'm not lugging my big loved monstrosity to another location.
However, if you absolutely feel you MUST have a silicone lid, then get the Instant Pot version. I bought a knock-off and returned it because it was so loose, it was too easy to flick off the inner pot. This Instant Pot version is a tighter fit, however it was a bit of a chore to align to just right to adhere properly to the inner pot--for this reason, I rated this lid 4-stars.
Needless to say, I returned this lid, but keeping the Instant Pot :)
