O-my-Ghu this was awful. When I was a child, long before becoming vegetarian, I remember Dinty Mopre Beef Stew tasted kind of good because it included big potato pieces, but smelled like dogfood. This stuff reminded me of Dinty More. Or, rather, it smelled like dogfood, but not as good as dogfood smells. It was kind of expensive to use as dogfood, but that's all I could think of. At first the dogs seemed to think it was icky and looked at me like I was trying to poison them. But then Yukiko decided she wanted it all, and that made the other dogs want their share after all. They got two snack-meals out of the can. I enjoy a lot of fake meats but this had the texture of a wad of something from a vacuum cleaner bag and an unforgivable taste. I still can't believe human beings eat this.
Other products from Loma Linda sound nice -- the chili, the phad thai, some other things -- but now I'm afraid to try any of those. The only other Loma Linda product I got was a CASE of "tuno" which was the #1 worst thing I ever tasted from out of a can. And I was stuck with a case. I think I've learned my lesson now, twice burned. Oh please people tell me how you can stand this stuff (supposing you can).
