A five-star salute for "The Captain".

I don't know why this storyline was reprinted into a graphic novel but I'm glad it did because in the upcoming film "Avengers: Infinity War", Steve Rogers will no longer be called Captain America. There's a possible chance that he will don "The Captain" identity in that movie. This is a great storyline that starts with Steve Rogers was stripped from his uniform, shield & the title "Captain America" after he refuses to be a puppet to the government (who were already in trouble due to the Nuke incident in "Daredevil: Born Again" storyline). The government ends up appoints John Walker as the new Captain America. But it won't stop Steve Rogers from defending his country which led him to wears the red, white & black uniform and became "The Captain". He went on battling the Serpent Society, a member of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse during a "Fall of the Mutants" crossover, the supervillains that broke out of the Vault & the Flag-Smasher. He even went toe-to-toe with Iron Man in the "Armor Wars" crossover. And Rogers was never alone when he have Falcon, Demolition Man, Nomad & Diamondback (who was a former member of the Serpent Society) with him. In the final issue of "The Captain" storyline, Rogers went toe-to-toe with the new Captain America and discovers the Red Skull is alive in a cloned body of Steve Rogers. Of course, this story have a happy ending when Steve Rogers became Captain America once again.
I give "The Captain" storyline a five-star salute because Steve Rogers show us that even though he's not Captain America, he doesn't stop fighting for his country. Great story!
