Top critical review
Change in size/color of capsules, change of ingredients.
Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2016
Let me just say that the product I have been receiving warrants at least 4 stars. But this last bottle is different. I probably wouldn't have noticed the change of ingredients if it weren't for the fact that the capsules were quite a bit smaller and lighter in color. It turns out they added gentian root, and I'm guessing they probably used less echinacea, which would account for the lighter color and smaller capsule. I did research on gentian root, and while it has a wide range of benefits, you're only supposed to take it for three weeks at a time, with a two week break before resuming. I take this daily and don't care to take a two week break. Also, nowhere on the bottle does it state that there was a change in ingredients or warn of the new restrictions.
I will take this bottle as I don't feel like sending it back, and when it is finished I will update my rating.
Update: Adding a star because not only has the seller been prompt and courteous in looking into this issue for me, they also offered me a refund. I'll update again when they send me their findings. For now I'm still taking it after taking the last of the last bottle. Too soon to tell if there's a difference, but there hasn't been any kind of bad effects.
Am curious if I'm the only one that has noticed the change. I'm now including a picture. The capsule on the left is from the older bottle.
ETA: I don't know if anyone will see this, as apparently this and many of my other reviews have been flagged and hidden for reasons I can't begin to understand. But anyhow, if they end up unhidding this I would like to add that they never did contact me back about the discrepancy between bottles, so it's still a mystery.
And to Amazon, if a person actually looks at this review, how about messaging me and telling me what exactly is wrong with this review, or the many others that have been hidden.
