NOT WORTH THE READ IF INTERMEDIATE OR ADVANCED

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED: I bought this book because I have a similar build, 5'8" 150 pounds, 14% bf percentage. From the Table of Contents I was very interested to read and learn about different exercises that may not be as mainstream or that were more advanced bc clearly when you think of Bruce Lee you think of an advanced athlete in building a great physique. I'm an intermediate lifter, been doing it for 2 years and thought this would be great to expand my repertoire and get me on track to "the next level". Especially interested in the nutrition part because I'm currently cutting to 11-10% bf and was wanting to learn what his nutrition was like to help him get shredded.
Whelp. I shouldve just stuck with common sense. There's no need whatsoever to buy this book unless you're an absolute beginner. The nutrition section is very sad and disappointing its literally just "he didn't worry about what he ate, his wife just made generally healthy food and he didn't worry about it. Just don't eat pizza and drink beer all day". And the sections about different exercises for specific parts of the body are just the absolute bare bone beginner level basic exercises. Ex. Chest - bench press, incline press, etc. Other than that the rest of it is mainly just filler on why you should work out and get into a healthier fitness based lifestyle. Almost like it's just motivational word vomit trying to convince someone to start training. To be honest I wonder how much of it is even based on truth, it seems like a bunch of made up bs for a quick cash grab maybe? And I say that because the information is literally so simplistic you'd find on the front page of any basic men's health and nutrition website. Unless you are an absolute newbie and know literally nothing about working out or how to set up a basic workout plan you wont get anything out of this. Definitely not at all what I was expecting. Very disappointing. Will be returning.
