Great for Large Families

I bought these and the larger size when packing for a week-long vacation with my family of 6. This smaller size fits well into a carry-on sized suitcase. They were a nice size for my younger kids. This size wouldn't fit all the clothing an adult would use for a week, however. But in general they really made things so much easier for us. I had everyone pack into one of these and then when we got to our destination, I just doled out the individual bags and everyone lived out of their respective bag for the week. I'm very glad I purchased them. I'm sharing photos to try to help give you perspective. The first photo shows you the two sizes in comparison. The second photo is of a bunch of them in a regular sized suitcase (you can see one of the smaller, red ones crammed in on the side). The third was to try to give you a sense of how much clothing I was able to fit into each bag. I hope it helps.

Nice size, but lots of loose threads and not well made

I own better quality travel cubes, but couldn't find them and needed to order quickly off amazon. These are fine, but they are not finished well on the inside and have loose nylon threads from the fabric fraying that get caught in zipper. I used 2 for a 44L backpack as a carry on to Europe. Ideally I would probably go with one this size and 2 smaller ones. They do allow you to stuff and compress your clothes and then just take the cube out and put in a drawer to unpack. I worried that stuffing too much would cause a seam to open since the fabric frayed and I didn't want to risk that while gone for 3 weeks. I would pay more buy osprey or eagle creek cubes if you plan on using these often.

I love these packing cubes! I got them to help organize my backpack for an upcoming trip to Thailand. They are the perfect size and free up a lot of space! I fit all my clothes in 3 cubes and I'll use the 4th cube for my toiletries and accessories. The quality seems good, I will add to my review if anything negative happens after my trip. My New Essential for Packing for Kids

I purchased this 4-pack of large packing cubes to pack for my three kids for a 7-day trip. In previous trips I would put all of their clothes into a duffle bag and by day two I was frustrated with the unorganized mess. These packing cubes rectified that. For reference, I packed for two 3-year olds (size 3T) and a one year old (size 18M) with winter clothes. In each cube I fit the following:

1- 16 long sleeve shirts, 4 footed fleece pajamas (size 3T)
2- 8 fleece sweatpants, 6 jeans (size 3T)
3- 9 tops and bottoms, 1 dress, 1 footed fleece pajamas, 1 fleece sleepsack (size 18 months)
4- one set of each of the following (2-size 3Ts, 1-size 18 months): snow bibs, thermal top and bottom, beanie, mittens, snow gloves

As you can see, these packing cubes fit quite a lot. They served their purpose well on the trip. I am happy with the quality and value.

If you are looking for a duffle bag to use with these packing cubes, I purchased and used two of the Gonex 80L Packable Travel Duffle Bag, Large Lightweight Luggage Duffel (Black) . For reference, three of these fully-filled cubes fit in one duffle bag by stacking them on top of each other, with some room on the side for additional items.

I travel at least twice a year, so this was a must-have for me! It saved me so much space in my suitcase and better organization too. I managed to fit around 18 female t-shirts/tank tops in one of those cubes (see picture). The mesh netting helps to see what is in there. The material seems durable. I threw the cubes (zipped up) in the washing machine with my clothes and hang them up to air dry. They are holding up fine after the washes. Definitely recommended it for families that travels. Different color cubes for each person, so the clothes won't be mixed up.

Great for organizing kids clothes

I use these for travelling with kids, and they are great!. I have a set of small cubes in each color for each of my kids. When I travel, I pack all three kids cubes into one suit case. In each cube, I put one days clothes (i.e. shirt, pants, socks, underwear/diaper). In the morning, I toss the correct color cube to each child and they can dress themselves, placing the dirty clothes back into the empty cube. I no longer have kids riffling through suitcases whining that they can't find any underwear, and I no longer have kids wearing mismatched clothes because my husband couldn't figure out what shirts/pants go together, and I no loner have dirty clothes strewn across the hotel room. I only wish that these came in a "mini" size that is half of a small. The kids clothes never fill a small cube.

There are all kinds of features that these cubes don't have: They don't have a clean and dirty side with seperate zippers. They don't have stiff sides that stand up on their own. They don't have the best color selection.

But you don't need all that! You just need some simple cubes to organize your clothes and these are perfect for that!!

I bought the Small set of 4 and they're perfect! I would prefer several smaller cubes than one large one, and for a two-week trip to Thailand I'm bringing 3 small cubes of clothes: 1 with 5 dresses/coverups, 1 with 2 tshirts/2 shorts/1 light pant, and 1 with 4 bathing suits (but really any normal person could put their sock, under where and panamas in there also). Also 2-3 thin pairs of women's shoes (size 8 in picture) can fit in the small!

They're very versatile and can be used for clothes, shoes, toiletries, chargers/accessories, kids toys, really anything!

I definitely recommend buying the small size. It would be nice if they had a set with 3 small and 1 medium, however.

These are very similar to other nice packing cubes, especially the eBags ones I have, but a little cheaper. The main reason I am reviewing them is that I want you to know that packing cubes will change your life. Even if you are only going on a short trip and bringing a backpack or duffel, use the cubes! it's SOOO much easier to stay organized, and as a bonus you can use them as laundry bags and keep your dirty/clean stuff separate when you go home. These particular ones are machine washable, so you just toss them in the machine when your trip is over. I did read in some other reviews that the color bled, so I pre-washed mine before taking them on my trip. I also bought black, and I wear a lot of black clothing. But I don't think the color bled, at least I didn't notice it on any of my non-black clothing.

If you're on the fence about packing cubes... DO IT!!

I seriously don't know how I survived 31 years of my life without these - I love them that much. They are clearly great for packing clothes for myself - and as a regular business traveler, it's so nice to pack an outfit per cube and have no time wasted each morning before heading off to meetings.

Better yet? They make traveling with twin 1 year olds a dream. While it's easy to pack a lot of clothes for little people, because their clothes are so small, I always ended up with a giant bag of clothes that looks like I just pulled a load of laundry out of the dryer. These cubes let me pack all of one girl's outfits (for a week!) in a cube, and the other's in another cube (or pack all the shorts in one cube, onesies in another, PJs in another, etc.). I seriously could not imagine traveling without these now - we arrive to our destination and it's like having their clothes already in drawers.

I'm not usually one for spending money on things I see as frivolous - but these are NOT - they are sanity-inducers.

How did we live without these?! I do a lot of short term travel. This makes it so simple to keep things organized while in the suitcase and at the hotel I simply pull them out and put them in the drawers. I don't have to worry too much about what any previous occupant had in the drawer since my clothing is still packaged. I seem to use the medium sized cubes the most (I did buy different sizes) but I think this is dictated by the length of travel/amount of clothing you will need. Take an extra, empty one to pack dirty clothes in just in case you don't wear every thing you take.
Cubes wash fairly well--would not chance drying them in the dryer. So far they've held up very well. I loved them so much that my partner decided he needed a set too.
