Cozy and cute!

Bought this book for our 6 month old grandson. Yes, six months old. He seems to like being read to and this seems to be one of his favorite "read to" books. He's very cozy and calm while his mom reads it to him. Love the series...the illustrations are great as well...very colorful, another plus! Try one with your child.

Short book, not like the original

The original pout pout fish book is my favorite to read to my son. I love the storyline and all the noises PoutPout makes. So I was eager to see they have other books too. This book is A LOT smaller than the original (only 6 pages). I was hoping for a more lengthy book and thought it’d be like a spin off to the original. It’s still cute, but if I had seen it in store I wouldn’t have bothered getting it.

I really loved the original Pout Pout Fish for its complex vocabulary, great poetry, and wonderful story line. This book is none of those things. Very few words at all with limited vocabulary and simplistic lyrics. I'm actually mad I bought this book. I'm giving it 2 stars because it is a cute short book in its own right but doesn't compare to the original at all.

This book arrived and it was much thinner and a shorter read than I expected. I got it for my daughter for Christmas (13m at the time) and now she is totally obsessed with it! It is the only book she wants to read at bedtime to we read it over and over and over. It's now an essential part of her bedtime routine. She loves to point at certain things on the pages and we talk about what they are. She's now 16 months and if we ever lose or damage this book we'll definitely be replacing it.
