This was apparently created by someone who doesn't speak English (or German?). This book has the appearance of a middle-school project, where they copy-pasted German stories into Google translate and published the result. The illustrations are poorly photoshopped and appear to be cheap clipart from across the internet. The English translations are really bad, but for native English speakers it may be good for a laugh as you read through this book. I wouldn't want my child learning English from this book though.
On the plus side, the psychedelic colors seemed to appeal to my 13-month old, but I won't be reading this to her when she's older. This book must cost only 25 cents to make, and I feel ripped off paying $10 for it. They should charge no more than $1 for this low-quality crap.
