Love the doll, dislike that she arrived in an opened/damaged package with markings on her arm. Not worth the price paid, sadly these are discontinued so the prices have increased but the retailer should have sold this as an open box item :(

Squashed looking head

The doll is very pretty, only two issues. Her hair ended up being completely matted and tangled, which, if I were getting this for a child, it would royally suck. However, I got her to repaint, so luckily the hair will be coming off anyways. But in the picture, her neck looks long and her face a nice hear shape, however the doll I recieved, her head looks much rounder, and looks like it'd been squashed down onto the neck, which makes her look less appealing. Also, her makeup looks very thinly painted on, which makes her look a bit cheap. But like I said, I plan to remove hair and factory paint, so the only real disappointment is the squashed-looking head.

My daughter received this doll for her birthday. She LOVES Monster High and is very sad that the nice, jointed dolls aren’t being made anymore.

This doll is a cross between the old dolls and the newer ones - partially painted on clothes, but all jointed. She is a very pretty doll and my daughter loves her.

There are several reasons not to like this doll. One, the top of her dress is painted onto the doll. This is cheap and tacky. Two, the doll did not come with a hair brush or a doll stand. Three, the packaging was pretty sleazy--not like the boxes they used to come in.. Mattel is going in the wrong direction with these dolls--making them "cheap" instead of high quality. Is the end in sight for the Monster High dolls? Mattel does not seem to care enough to make them good any more.
Having said that, I did like this doll. The reversible dress is a nice touch. But again, this really isn't worth what it costs. MAYBE it's worth $15.

I don't usually buy the ones who aren't actual "monsters" but I could not pass up this girl! I waited for the price to come down- but after seeing all the amazing detail on her I couldn't resist. Everything on her either sparkles or changes into something else or has etching on it. She is one seriously cool sailor. I had to sign on and I'm glad I did. Incredible doll!!!

Not much of a gripe, but I didn't know the dress was attached lol. And I know that it wasn't supposed to come off cause I can't put it back on :b. So now there's a pretty noticeable gap between her torso and waist. Oh and the top doesn't come off, it's just molded on lol. So yea, gonna sand that down sometime soon. As a toy, it's great lol.
