READ IT!!!!

This series was moving! I had a difficult time putting any of the books down, I just wanted to know what happened next! I will read this series again! If you liked Twilight or the thrills of Divergent, then you should absolutely give this a try. And don't stop after the first book. This author found it's way into my heart and I lived the emotions with the characters through her writing. Can't wait to see what happens in her next series.

I'm "overcome with desire" to put this book down and never read it again.

I REALLY don't understand why this is a best seller. INCREDIBLY slow, and the entire book is about 90% overly dramatic, descriptive language, and only 10% actual story. There is a ridiculous overabundance of phrases like "I was overcome by emotion", "emotion washed over me", "I gazed into his eyes", and "the emotion was so intense". Yeah, we get it, you're emotional. But taking five pages to tell us how he looked at you is over the top and I was bored very quickly. The male lead is one-dimensional and at no time did I feel any connection between them, because their interactions are limited to glances and short conversations, which the author continues to describe as "so intense". I'm 'overcome with the intense desire' to put this book down and never read it again.

My heart was shattered at a certain point in this book. That is all. You should definitely try this book out!

The world the author created is marvelously dark and mysterious. Such a gruesomely dark and passionate read. I have never fallen so hard for a book before but with this book, it was utterly easy to fall for it. So much awesomeness.

Full of angels, witches, darkness, trust, lies, betrayal, secrets, love, forbiddenness and mystery.

Perfect for readers of dark romantic fantasy/paranormal romance/gothic romance.

These books are absolutely captivating, the characters are so great! They make you feel like they are really there Gemma and Evan are beyond perfect! The love story the devastation the sadness the books make you feel all the emotions! I can’t understand how people write bad reviews about such an amazing book but I guess you always have to have those haters and people who just don’t get good books, I guess that’s why they aren’t publishers or anything thank god! Lol but seriously you guy you have to read this book! And all the others they capture your heart and mind. I honestly can’t wait for more I hope there will be more! How the last book ended had me craving for me more!

I finished the book in almost two hours, I couldn't put it down. You will love the characters so much, that you will find yourself laughing, crying, yelling, and smiling, with them. I will be reading the next book...

I loved this book, Evan and Gemma are my new favorites in YA. Their story is fantastic and there is plenty of action and angst in this book that kept me turning and turning the pages. He's an Angel of Death, she's an ordinary human that death has come to claim. This is the first book in Evan and Gemma's story and believe me once you start, be ready to read all three books.

This book is a combination of so many things. It kinda has a Twilight/Death takes a holiday feel. Gemma is the awkward ,out of place girl who finds herself in a world she never thought could exsist. Angels!!! But it's not just any ordinary Angel!! It's her Angel, in more ways then one. This book is filled with a rock solid world building. Each scene is described perfectly. And the conversations are real time. I think some books overlook this detail. This book gave the realism of actually being there. The book wasn't rushed, you aren't feeling like something's are being looked over. Great book, Solid Read!!

There are not enough words in the english language to describe how much I loved this book. I haven't had interest in reading all that much for awhile, but this book has proven successful at pulling me back into the literary world.

If there's ever been a story that should be brought to life, it would be this one. Gemma and Evan's story will have you terrified, jealous and happy all at the same time. I don't want to give anything away, but when Gemma woke up to the doorknob moving, the phone hung up and in darkness, I nearly fell off my bed.
Absolutely seven stars!!

I was a bit skeptical to read this, not knowing too much about the book nor the author. I am happy I did. The first part was a bit slow, but once it picked up, I couldn't put it down. I found myself skimming so I could read faster to find out what happens. This book would be great for those who enjoy the Twilight Series, Fallen Series, or the Guardian Series. Each love story is about the same, but each writer has their way of putting their special touch to it. Definitely a must read!

Reading Amore's writing is like reading great poetry, because her writing is so lyrical. I am grateful that she has shared her gift with the world, and I look forward to reading "Broken-Hearted". I will be waiting eagerly. I highly recommend reading any books by this author.
