How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsWorth the Wait - The Return Delivers

I was skeptical, given the fact that KK 7 was not my favorite installment of the series. I decided to give this a try before giving up & I'm glad that I did! The book is fast paced; has enough action to keep younger readers engaged while providing young at heart Disney fans an opportunity to seek out clues and visit the various venues mentioned in the book.

As one of the latter category of readers, I appreciate a Disney-based book that gives that glimpse into Disney history that "could be". Mr. Pearson's series of books, much like Jeff Dixon's Key to the Kingdom series, allows those to learn more about Disney history in such a way that it inspires us to learn more. Walt's legacy lives on in these books and encourages new readers to jump on the Disney bandwagon.

A great read - it won't disappoint KK fans! Can't wait for Volume 2!

Really quick read. Not enough action. The OT's were mentioned but only in small parts. Wasn't clear on where the story was headed and the plot seemed predictable and confusing at times with all the technical talk. There wasn't a climax and the story ends with an unfinished ending leaving you to have to wait another 4 or 5 years to continue when the next book comes out. However, the story does peak your interest while enduring the anticipation of what will happen when they cross over, but overall, the story seems weak. The book should have reached a good climax before ending with a weak conclusion resulting in a future follow up.

3.0 out of 5 stars Seriously? SPOILERS INCLUDED

This was a great book. It's a great series.

But this book - and The Syndrome - makes me question if these books are even put through editing. Ridley, books are much better when they've been through editing.

I found only three grammatical errors, MUCH fewer than The Syndrome. But my issues are not with grammar; however, these are published books and should have none.

My issues are with the plot and the so-called "great evil." The two narrations were...refreshing. However, the Keepers storyline was boring.

The basic Keeper storyline was: Finn timetraveled. Finn knows something is wrong. Other Keepers believe Finn is crazy.

Very little action. Also, the event in the beginning of the book is never investigated. That infuriated me.

The DSI storyline, on the other hand, was fantastic. I was hooked with the Jess and Amanda storyline, especially with the Tink Tank. Lots of action there.

My second issue is the characters. The Keepers treat themselves and the fellow Keepers like thirteen. They graduated high school.

That was unrealistic. Finn still lives with his parents and his parents still play a major authoritative role.

As an added bonus, I spent much of the book trying to chronologically figure out what role The Syndrome played. My answer is that The Syndrome has no relation, plotwise, to this book.

Finally, the "evil." The evil is unclear. There's no evil greater than the Overtakers. The Legacy was presented as such, but we know so little about The Legacy that I cannot see it playing a major antagonistic role.

Here is my advice: Do not read this book unless you want to intentionally be extremely bored (and thereby angry at the author for ruining something with so much potential) for the majority of the book.
