Get this book... Get it now. I knew Connie was winsome and helpful from her former books and from her course.. but she really outdid herself this time. Reading this book is a lot like sitting down with a friend and receiving, in the most comfortable fashion, some of the most important things we need to know about in life. No one could have written a book like this unless they had walked the journey themselves. If you want to make something out of your life, sit down and learn from someone who is doing it....and someone who is willing to help you do it too. This is the stuff that no school will teach and yet is most important to learn. Thanks Connie!
Connie Ragen Green is an engaging writer. She tells stories, gives personal examples, and speaks right to the reader. She tells about her own transformation in the many forms it takes and invites the readers to transform too. That’s why this book is interactive reading. It’s about being self-aware as you go through your life and create your business. She talks about multiple streams of income and how to be a true success as an entrepreneur. She, herself, is a creative, impassioned entrepreneur and teacher/coach for others. That’s why her book is so compelling. I highly recommend it!
If you are seeking to transform yourself into an entrepreneur and want to also help others along the way this book is for you. Connie encourages you to start where you are and take it one step at a time.
She shares some of her own story that is so inspiring, many "how to do it" tips and strategies, and includes her 11 step blueprint to entrepreneurial success.
I found the many questions she suggests you ask yourself along the way very helpful in keeping my focus on the right things. She actually lives what she teaches, which makes her an excellent, trustworthy guide.
Kindle Edition by Connie Ragen Green best selling author of more than 10 books!
If you have dreamed of having a life you own, a surplus of money without a JOB, only to have that dream turn to a nightmare, this is the Book for you.
Connie Ragen Green, shares all of the story, her personal journey and the journey we must embrace to become an Entrepreneur.
This was my second time to read this book. While she did not dwell on what we may perceive to be disaster, meaning loss of everything in a hurricane, being a multiple cancer survivor, those facts were included. As the reader I identified with all, including the deep desire to be successful in a new endeavor.
She gently guides us to be aware of the importance of taking responsibility for our life. One of the big changes I understand from reading this book is to stop reacting to my circumstances and respond by taking responsibility.
This was a well-written, easily accessible book ideal for budding entrepreneurs and small business owners. The author has walked the path she now teaches, and her tone is one of taking you by the hand and both teaching and inspiring you.

If you are seriously considering working for yourself, you owe it to yourself to read Connie Ragen Green's latest book, "The Transformational Entrepreneur". Connie describes the journey and the lifestyle and mindset that is required of today's entrepreneur, a transformation of mindset, daily actions, goals, attitude, avoiding "group think", and the role of thought leaders, and how to become one.
If you are not working for yourself, then you are most likely an employee. And as an employee, our daily life and work is planned out for us - someone else buys a computer, installs software that we need, provides a building and place to work, tells us the hours of work, and our boss tells us priorities and what we should be doing next. Our employer even tells us what we will get paid and how often.
For most of us, to go from that prescribed downward directed employee work environment, where everything is taken care of, to the self directed world of an entrepreneur, can be challenging. An entrepreneur has to get their own computers, pay for their own software, find a place to work, find the hours to work, find customers, get customers to pay and collect those payments, hire their own bookkeepers and accountants, hire staff, and figure out what daily and weekly and yearly priorities are, and on and on.
Connie's book is refreshing in that she describes her own journey from mediocrity to becoming an entrepreneur, and part of the transformation is more than mindset, but realizing purpose and our ability to impact others in a positive way. I love the section on Rules/Strategies for a Revolutionary Transformation, and in particular her discussion on taking full responsibility for what occurs in my life on all levels.
And Connie ends the book with a chapter on a blueprint for becoming an online entrepreneur. She lays out 11 simple and clear steps that make it easy to follow and do.
Overall, this is a must read for any budding entrepreneur or those already working to make the transformation from employee to self-employed.
I liked the book because she is direct in her style, and she tells you pretty clearly what you need to do to make this transformation. I love the fact that she provides numerous examples from her own life of her own struggles and journey to becoming a transformational entrepreneur. Her stories helped me relate and helped me understand that I also can succeed if I just don't give up and keep growing and changing and keep moving forward.
Get this book and have a yellow highlighter and pen ready. You will want to take frequent notes as you read.
I love how Connie Ragen Green has laid out this book. She starts out from the very beginning defining what Transformation is and explaining why it is not just important but vital for entrepreneurs to make the changes they need to make to get the results they desire. The book walks the reader step by step through these changes that must be made and even provides a high level blueprint with “Steps To Success.” Connie Ragen Green shares stories of her own experiences to show us how it can be done. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is contemplating starting your own business and to all those of you who have already gotten started yet find yourself just shy of the success you envisioned.
Connie has created and delivered an excellent educational primer on transformational thinking, and then the ability synthesize what works, into thoughtful and actionable principles. Anyone interested in quick, action packed thinking will benefit from this quick and easy read. Go for it!
