To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I love this magazine and decided to start with a 6-month subscription. Honestly though, it is a weekly issue, why does it take so dang long for a subscription to start? I ordered a 6-month subscription on January 3, 2017, still waiting and probably will still be waiting until the beginning of April! It just doesn't make any sense to me !!! Waiting patiently for my first issue! Hope I don't buy a double before my first issue arrives !
I always wanted a magazine that featured people who were (and perhaps still are) famous during the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's. I am delighted with the contents each week and, after immediately reading the current issue, pass the magazine to my friends or take it to a doctor's office where it is almost grabbed out of my hand by patients waiting to be seen. Great choice!!!
Enjoyable reading when you want something light and not offensive. Most the stories are about celebrities from the past, and their interviews are usually done with their cooperation so it's not your twisted scandal sheet. It's kind of fun to discover that many of the celebs from childhood led pretty impressive lives, lives that you were unaware of as a kid. Was surprised to learn that the actor who played Maxwell Smart (Don Adams) in the Get Smart series fought on Guadalcanal in WWII. It's more nostalgic, which can be charming and fun to read.
