Top critical review
Come on.... did you really have to design the bag with the seal strip there? :-(

I was profoundly disappointed when I received this product.
A total letdown...
The quality was exactly as hoped and antcipated...
Excellent clarity, durable seams, appropriate quality / weight to the material
Not at all flimsy or cheap.
Not to mention, I was INCREDIBLY excited to find on Amazon an 8x10 cellophane wrapper that was just SLIGHTLY larger than other competing products because it was that extra 1/4” - 3/8” that i had hoped would provide the amount of additional space required to hold the intended items (NOT 8x10 mattes or photos) and that feature ALSO lived up to and met expectations.
So why the low star-rating?
One reason: Short Sited Product Design.
Instead of placing the sealing strip on the actual flap that one typically folds over to cover / seal the opening at the top of the bag (like every other similar bag on the planet that I’ve ever seen, purchased or used) this product’s sealing strip is placed just below the mouth of the opening on the reverse side of the bag. Its designed, no doubt, to create a crisp, clean closure for a 8x10 matte or photo, but the design renders the bag absolutely worthless for use with anything OTHER than that exact 8x10 sized object around which the seller is apparently (and myopically, in my opinion) totally focused.
But for what benefit?
How does placing the strip on the other side of the sealing intersection help or otherwise benefit the bag”s intended object?
Is there any beneficial increase in protection of the bag’s contents? Any increase in benefit derived from some physics that design imbues or expected longevity of the unique sealing method?
Any further reduction in dirt, dust or other debris or that might try to slip past the (admittedly) robust seal?
Not to my eye....
But alas, I made the mistake of thinking the product might have utility beyond the limited focus of packaging mattes or photos.
And unfortunately that creates an unhappy would-be customer from a different market niche, who now has to write this snarky review to vent his frustration.
