Typical iPad/Tablet mounting bracket.
Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2019
There are better devices out there. Trust me, I looked.
This tablet mounting bracket is typical - it is designed to ONLY hold your iPad in the horizontal orientation (side-to-side or landscape). If this is how you are going to take video or pictures, that's fine.
BUT - some platforms for uploading your video or doing a live feed (like facebook) will then save your video sideways. So when it's posted to your page and somebody is watching it later, the video is sideways. Also, the clamp mechanism doesn't hold the iPad or tablet very solidly - it's hard to lock it really tight.
If you want to use your iPad in the vertical orientation (up-n-down or portrait), you will need to figure out some way to keep the iPad from slipping - like a big rubber band. This will at lest keep the iPad from slipping out of the bracket completely.
My suggestion? Save your money and search for a different style of bracket (like a gimars). Find one that will work for both orientations of your tablet or iPad - both landscape AND portrait.
