Wasn’t leakproof for my 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6
Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2019
I intended to use this after replacing the radiator on my 2000 Ford Ranger with the 3.0L V6, since the upper radiator hose extends above the radiator cap, making it necessary to bleed air out of the cooling system.
For some reason, none of the adapters fit tightly enough for me to get a proper seal. The green cap is too loose, and the blue cap was too tight. The green plastic insert was too wide to fit into the neck of the radiator, and while the blue plastic insert fit the neck of the radiator, it was too short to seal up against the cap to provide a seal. Because of that, I couldn’t keep the bowl of the funnel filled without having coolant leak between the plastic fitting and the cap. All in all, I probably spilled one to two quarts of coolant mix onto the ground, and was unable to “burp” the system as I had planned to do.
