How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

4.0 out of 5 starsGood Continuation
Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2017
This was a good continuation to the Darth Vader story, although it was a bit confusing because I read the Vader Down collection and then came to this one, but it seems the actual chronology is the Annual at the beginning of this collection, then Vader Down, then the rest of Volume 3. I do see why the Annual was included in this Volume rather than the end of Volume 2, because it does deal with the Shu-Torun world which is where the whole volume takes place. It did feel like this collection was mostly it's own self-contained series that was a bit different in tone to the rest of the series up to this point. It was also a bit disappointing that Aphra was not in this collection, so I am looking forward to having her back in Volume 4. It is still a great continuation to the wonderful Darth Vader comic series.

3.0 out of 5 starsI miss Doctor Aphra

I miss Doctor Aphra. The droids are fun. This volume finds Darth Vader dealing with a war and royal families on a supply planet. I am so over the other potential apprentices of the Emperor. They're annoying.

Queen Trios is a really interesting character. I like the culture of glamour and dukes on this planet. An intensely courtly culture.

I give this volume a 3/5. It continues the Darth Vader story, but nothing special happens in this volume. Hopefully the next volume picks up the pace.

This is bad. Gillen just dialed it in. Waste of a story with no characters, no story movement. Nothing that let us know anything new. The one good thing is the art is great. I'm missing DARK HORSE star wars. At least they had plot that moved the Star Wars universe forward.

2.0 out of 5 stars Unremarkable and unnecessary.

I'm not sure what the point of this story was. There really wasn't any link to any other part of Vader's story not was there any satisfying resolution. I don't think I missed an issue or something like that but I guess it's possible.
