How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

5.0 out of 5 starsOne of the best cozies
Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2021
I listened to the first 4 books in this series during my nightly bubble bath, what a great way to relax and get a few laughed to end your day. Just love this series and it gets 5 bright stars. Original ideas, the best narrator I have heard yet.😻... Worth every penny. And cats🐈, my favorite characters😺....normally I read/listen to cat cozys where the cats are the main characters, this was an exception. Glad I tried it😃🐈
Only one PROBLEM....book 5 - 18 do not have narration🙀. Please get these in audio with the same narrator because she is the best! I'm hoping MS. LANGTRY READS her reviews and will let us know when they are available. Thank you for wonderful cozys to get through the remainder of Covid social distancing.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST read! This book in the series hits it way out of the park once again

I'm just a Girl Scout Troup leader to a bunch of extremely precocious girls in hiding! Merry constantly opines. More likely her little scouts are Mini-agents in training! Or so they want to be. Yes, Merry Wrath is at it again. Or trouble has found her again. This is a great, very funny romp through her quiet little town complete with trying to find domestic terrorists and foil their plot to a girl scout troup movie night lock-in and a dead body familiar to Merry and her troup. These are only a few of the things that provide a rollicking roller coaster ride of twists and turns, false leads, red herrings, a full of himself FBI agent, a president, a potential assassination, a new coroner who is drop dead gorgeous and who seems to flirt with Merry's boyfriend and CIA handler and a very tricky never to be expected ending! Merry is outed now which will definitely add to the next books in this series! You will love this fun mystery and find yourself laughing out loud. I could go on and on, but you Must get this book and see for yourself!

5.0 out of 5 stars I want Merry Wrath as my Co-Troop Leader!

Another great book in the series! Merry Wrath gets roped into doing a sleepover with her Girl Scout Troop (by her best friend (and Co-Troop Leader), when a dead body lands at their feet. It will take them, Rex (her boyfriend), Riley (her CIA handler), and of course her cats to figure out who the murdered woman was and why she was murdered. I just love this series and hope there are more to come! As a GS Leader myself, I most enjoy the girl in her troop and how they incinerate all ideas of "what little girls like to do"!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Girl Scout Lock-In

This is Book 4 in the Merry Wrath Mysteries and it is just as funny as all the others. I cannot recommend these books more highly! Merry Wrath is an ex-CIA agent who was outed by the Vice President of the United States. She changes her name, moves back to her hometown and becomes a Girl Scout Leader. In this book, she and her childhood best friend hold a Mommy and Me lock-in at the local church. Her friend brings along her baby and Merry, who doesn't have kids, brings her cat and two kittens (I mean, like, she couldn't leave them home alone!). Throw this mix in with a dead body and sit back and watch the fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Irresistible!!! 🐾

Merry Wrath & company are back!! This adventure is chock full of precocious little girls, snails, a pink cat, & lots & lots of spies! While Merry was a very proficient spy, she has no clue when it comes to social interactions. She just follows her intuition, right or wrong, ultimately solving the case, but not without causing a great deal of hilarious chaos along the way! I adore her Girl Scout Troop!! They are shaping up to be little Merrys-in-training. All in all this book is fast paced, suspenseful, & a laugh out loud irresistible page turner!

The problem with reading and finishing a book by a favorite author. Is that the book is good, even reading slow to savor every word you are still going to finish. Then you have to wait for another book in the series. This series is just a fun little outed CIA spy/assassin who is forced to retire. She becomes a girl scout leader with her best friend. Falls in love, gets a cat and every thing domestic she never knew plus characters from her past, throw in some to smart for their britchs little girl's. Well let the fun begin and it does.

This series is interesting. She throws out plenty of red herrings. The girl scout troop is a hoot. You really do want to read to the end to see who did it. But, the whole rex/riley thing is getting old. Reminds me way too much of joe/ranger in the bounty hunter series. Other than that, nice read.

Escape to a world where a former CIA operative is now a Girl Scout troop leader and her past keeps showing up in her home town in Iowa. Of course Merry cannot have a troop outing without a dead body showing up! Her books are funny, heart-warming and keep you on the edge of your seat. It's got everything. I cannot wait to read the next one!!

As villians once again descend on a small, non descript mid west town and cause havoc. Merry the local ex CIA agent has her hands full with kittens, girl scouts, a new coroner, her ex boyfriend/handler, her best friend and new mother all while trying to stop the body count from rising.

5.0 out of 5 stars How can one exCIA agent keep having so much trouble.

Merry thought the worst thing about a lock in was having 12 eight year olds and their mothers to entertain. She was so wrong. She thought having her ex back in town was the worst thing but she was wrong again. Very good story with lots of plot changes with dry cute dialog. I'm so ready for the next adventure.
