Great Bag for Travel

I purchased this bag because I was tired of carrying a bag on my shoulder when I fly, I liked this one because it said that it fit under the seat on the plane and I wouldn't have to bother with the overhead compartment. I was worried it wouldn't fit because its a good size bag, but IT FIT!! I really like this bag. The color is nice, it fits under the seat, and you can roll it around with you. It does not have a laptop sleeve inside, it has a small sleeve where my iPad fits, I still carry a laptop inside, its not a deal breaker for me. Overall, I recommend this bag. it made my travels easier.

Great space but oh the PAIN

I love the space of this bag. I've used it on 2.5 vacations now and it holds a ton in a "personal " size. I would have given it 5 stars but there a few complaints, with the 3rd taking away stars and causing me to no longer recommend this bag.
1) it's a little to large to fit completely under the seat on some airlines, especially the new planes where seats are closer. If you have long legs like me, not being able to use that space to stretch out on long flights could become a health issue (I should have thought if this).
2) I wish the 2nd pocket had a double zipper like the big compartment so that you can easily access items without exposing everything & risking things falling out when trying to get to something on the far side of the compartment.
3) Most important is that when sitting attached to my larger bags (I tried 4 different bags), the handle in its down position is in the same space as the top of the handle position of my larger bag when extended for use. I am currently suffering with a swollen & painful back of the hand after rolling this through 2 airport terminals, ground transportation, to hotel! I will have to roll both bags separately from now on (which defeats part of my purpose for purchasing).

While I absolutely love the size of my shoulder bag that I have owned years, my shoulders said it was time to look at a bag with wheels. I did my research and finally decided on this bag as I wanted one that would fit under the seat on a Spirit Airline flight. I was a bit nervous as there seems to be some conflicting reviews about it fitting under a seat on a Spirit flight. However, I can now say, yes, this lovely luggage definitely fits under the seat... no problem!!!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as there was more room than I thought. I fit a lot in it and liked the different pockets it came with.
The tag that was on the bag states the dimensions are: 15"x14"x9".

I would say the only downfall was the side mesh on the outside of the bag didn't really hold a full water bottle. I drank some of my water and squished it a bit to fit. The lining in the luggage I don't feel like will last a real long time, but that is an unfounded fear as of now.

I will add I did not have any problems with the handle going up and down. I took a pic of the luggage under the seat on both of my flights. On my return flight, it was definitely not as wide, but the luggage still fit. While I did not travel with my MacBook Pro 13" I did put in the luggage and it fits both ways for anyone inquiring.

I am thrilled I bought this!

This little piece of luggage is a power house. I was tired of lugging a large shoulder bag to carry my laptop and other little things onboard an aircraft. Every little pocket, zipper pouch and side pockets are designed perfectly and I tried them all out on my last flight. The main section is big enough for 13' laptop and files, more junk like makeup bag, shoes, a shirt or two. It opens up in a large way so that you can cram everything you need in there easily and see easily inside. Love the front two zipper compartments because you can put your flight passes inside and misc paperwork and the fact that the pockets are not sewed so tightly that you can't get your fingers in to them. Love the extra pouch compartments inside the pockets, helps keep everything organized. On one flight I put it under the seat in front of me with no problem and had it full with all my stuff plus some christmas gifts I picked up. It was very easy to reach inside the pockets to get things out. Also on my 2nd flight I had to put it in the overhead bin because I was sitting at the bulk head on the plane. No problem there either. The wheels work fine and the handle is plenty high enough to accomadate just about anyone. Fabric is nice, I chose the black with bright pink interior and although I'm not a pink fan, it really does help you see everything you have down in that bag. It does not fall over when you let go of it and I did have a water bottle on the side pocket as well. Believe me guys, I'm a ex-flight attendant here and I know luggage and traveling. This is my new favorite and I will be using it until it dies. And let me say that yes, you could use this for everything you need for one night away without bringing a larger suitcase. Quality of materials is great and the construction too.

Under-seater? Not always!

I purchased two Delsey Quilted Rolling UnderSeat Totes for a 14 night trip to Maui with my husband - I’m a minimalist and not averse to doing laundry on vacation. The bag is lightweight, attractive and reasonably priced. The quilted fabric looks nice and it’s not abrasive. Inside it’s roomy and well-designed but it requires packing with precision to make use of every cubic inch - compactly-folded, minimal clothing and stuff is key. While the bag has several compartments, avoid putting anything bulky in them, especially the outermost pocket as it will interfere with getting the bag under the airline seat. The trick is to preserve the profile of the empty bag when it is fully packed. The less you pack, the better the bag performs and the less likely it will be damaged. Zippers are sturdy but should be treated with care and the seams could rip if the bag is overstuffed. There’s a mesh compartment inside that snaps to the sides of the suitcase - worthless except for something thin and flat. The telescoping handle feels flimsy and can be temperamental when collapsing but it worked well during our trip. A mesh outer pocket is good for items needed during flight, packed into a flat organizer but 16 oz water bottles are a tight fit. Another outer compartment, lined with plastic, also comes in handy for items needed during the trip. My iPad Pro 9.7” with a silicone case and cover travelled well in its intended pocket and was easy to retrieve. When necessary, as in walking down the narrow aisles of the plane or getting on an escalator, the bag can be comfortably carried by the handles.

As for the claim that it fits under seats? Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not. On a Boeing 757-200 and 737-800, we were able to fit each bag completely under the seats in front of us and still had leg room. On a Boeing 717-200, seated next to the window in aisle 26, I was unable to fit one bag - the space under the seat was half of what it normally would be. On a Boeing 767-300 neither bag fit fully under the seats, cutting off leg room and that would have been atrocious on the nine-hour flight. Luckily, we were not barred from placing one bag into the overhead compartment in spite of being in Economy and we kept the second Delsey in the middle of the seats in front of us (there’s no divider in this plane’s configuration) regaining some semblance of leg room. Beware and be prepared - pack the essential items you’ll need during your flight into a slim, separate organizer that you can remove in case you have to put your bag into the overhead bin. Overall I’m very satisfied with the bag - it made traveling with fewer stuff a breeze and we had everything we needed for our stay. Breezing in and out of airplanes to connecting flights was great, not lugging heavy luggage meant less fatigue and skipping baggage claim at our destinations, priceless.

Fits under the seat

I travel weekly from the west coast to the east coast for work. It was very hard for me to find a rolling bag that fits under the seat. I didn't want to waste my time waiting for my rolling bag at my destination after landing. I used to have a samsonite rolling bag similar to this and it wouldn't fit under the seat of a regional plane. I am very happy to have found this. It's very spacious inside. However, this is not a laptop bag. I still put my 13 inch laptop inside which barely fits. You'll need an extra cushion to protect it. I love the pockets and helped me organize my work stuff. Compared to other rolling bags, this is not too heavy. I love how it doesn't fall forward when you leave it standing up. I can even hang my coat in the handle and it's still sturdy. Sometimes, I feel like the handle can be flimsy but it hasn't been giving me any trouble and is still comfortable to use. I highly recommend this rolling bag if you want something light, small but spacious, functional, fits under the seat and simple.

I have had this bag for a few years now, and it's amazing! It fits underneath the seat, and even though it seems small, it's the only carry on bag I have used for my weekday work travel. I have been able to fit everything including: 2 pairs of wedges, 4 days worth of (summer) work clothes, 2 pairs pajamas, a bigger cosmetic bag (about 11.5inx4.5x8.5 which takes up most of the room), a smaller cosmetic bag, flat iron, small hair dryer, tablet and charger. Everything else I can't squeeze into this bag, I put in my "personal item" bag which is a small tote that I keep my work computer in. There are so many easy to reach and convenient pockets/compartments, which is incredibly convenient when you're sitting in a middle seat and literally only have room to reach a hand down to grab something rather than pull the entire thing out to rummage for what you need. Only slight problem I've noticed is that the handle feels a little flimsy/wobbly especially when it's pulled all the way up. BUT, I didn't subtract a star, because it hasn't actually broken.. it just feels like it easily could if not careful.

Delsey designs some of the best travel bags out there, IMO. My absolute favorite roll-aboard is a Delsey (which they unfortunately discontinued) and this one is likely to become my favorite under-seater. I purchased the black one with the purple interior.

Design features I love:
* The perfect number of zippered compartments.
- There is a slim pocket right in front that is perfect for your boarding pass, passport, and phone. Everything you need to board an aircraft is easily accessible
- A organizational pocket immediately behind that which has a padded sleeve for your laptop or tablet. A couple of zippered mesh pockets (for easy viewing) to corral your power cords, power brick, pencils and pens, or any other small items. There are also four card slots but I don't use those while traveling - too easy to access for thieves.
- A size zipper that is lined with plastic for water-proofing. Perfect for a wet umbrella or small water bottle.
- The main compartment is wonderful! Largely an open area with 2 zippered areas in the lid of the bag and a mesh compartment in the middle which can be snapped in place or not. There is also an elastic compartment on each side which would be great for a small umbrella, socks, etc. The best thing about these organizational options is that the lie flat and don't take up room in the bag. If you don't want to use them, they don't get in the way. I like a large, open compartment where I can configure it to my preference using packing cubes and that is definitely an option. The zippered compartments make logical sense and I can see myself using those extensively.

* I usually have a strong preference for four wheels, but in the case the two wheels make more sense. It will be easy to roll it behind me when walking down the aisle of the aircraft or to just pick it up and carry it. The extra wheels would mean more weight as well as taking up valuable packing room.

*. The front of the bag opens completely so that when packing, you can easily get to the bottom of the bag. No place for items to "hide" either.

* The outside fabric is lovely. It's got enough structure to it that it holds its shape while packing, but can smoosh down when going under the seat if the bag isn't completely full.

A couple of things I wish were different:
* There are no compression straps inside. Those really are helpful when the bag isn't full and you are trying to keep things from sliding around. They are also helpful when the bag is packed to capacity to allow you to compress the contents.
* I wish it were a tad lighter. The weight seems heavier that it would need to be. Not usually a problem in the US since airlines pay attention to size rather than weight. But it could become an issue when flying outside the US, particularly on budget airlines.

I am a fairly experience packer and this bag, along with a small backpack (maybe 12-15 liters) would work fine for a week-long trip and I would not be leaving behind anything I really wanted. That makes life easier, particularly when flying on regional jets - no 'gate checking' of the bag, freeing you to deplane and move on to the rest of your adventure.

This one is a definite winner !

I bought this bag for an international vacation. I had a long layover on my way back to the US so I wanted a bag that I could use over night while my full-size carry on was checked with the airline during my layover.

I love all the pockets/compartments it has.

I could put papers in the large compartment without folding or wrinkling them, a change of clothes, snacks, small gifts, tooth brush & paste, large headphones, my Nintendo Switch and power cord, phone power cord, universal charger, my boarding passed in the outside side zip pocket, trtl neck pillow, airplane foot sling and a hat. I still had pockets to spare. One if the main things I was looking for that most other under the seat bags did not offer was a pocket for a water bottle which I always have when flying.

I put the bag under the seat in front of me for take offs and landings. During the flights I had it upright against the front of my seat so I could stretch my legs out. I only moved it when I got out of my seat to use the bathroom and walk around.

I had a couple of isle seats in my trip and it was a little snug but it fit.

It was easy to pull around and carry when needed. A long strap would have been a nice feature.

It fit on top of my full-size carry on luggage and I had no issues using the carry on handle when this bag was on it.

It was worth the money, I look forward to using it again!

Happy with this purchase of Delsey Quilted Rolling UnderSeat Tote- EXCLUSIVE (Teal) just before a recent short trip to Miami. I was able to fit all my preferred carry-on items comfortably, including iPad mini, book, magazine, flip-flops, makeup and limited toiletries, wallet, Yeti tumbler, snacks, one outfit and some other items. In fact, there was room to spare. It took me a couple of tries but I learned pretty quickly how best to use the many compartments to keep things organized and readily within reach. This is just a matter of personal preference (and I don't fly very often so it may already be common knowledge) but here it is: lay the bag down with the handle side toward you and pack items from this perspective vs. facing the bag upright and forward. The bag is relatively lightweight even when packed full. The telescoping handle worked great for the time I needed it. It stands up on its own even with the handle fully extended. Once mobile, I could navigate through the airport with ease, including going through security checks. Only once when moving through the center aisle of the plane did I get the bag caught on something and it was a seated passengers' stuff sticking out in the aisle. We flew Southwest and this bag fit under the seat in front for both a window-seat and a middle-seat but I cannot speak to whether it fits in the aisle location. I like the quilted fabric and bright teal color as it is unique among the sea of luggage but wonder if I might have purchased the black one as the lighter color may show dirt more easily. Only time will tell. My only suggestion for improvement is making this a spinner on four wheels vs. the two wheels.
