Ok so holy crap, Ryan really started this series off with one hell of a bang!!! Seriously, as much as I love her Rave MC Series, the Vipers MC seems to be amped up about 20 levels higher from the start.
Spook (Cade) is the president of the club and has been for about the last 15 years after he killed his father. Things have changed since his father was around. Spook is an uber Alpha, dominating, controlling personality and man. He hasn't been in a relationship since high school ..... the six months with her ..... the six months that changed everything for him. When he hears her voice and sees her again, it is like he is right back where he was all those years ago. However, there is one problem ..... he has been keeping secrets that could destroy any chance of him getting back together with her.
Trix (Trixie) is a young woman that has been in control of her life for years. She owns and runs Sirens, a strip club, where she is the one that says what happens. She was raised by her father, a poker player that is ruthless, controlling, and tests her every day of her life. When one of her ladies needs help, she goes against her first instinct and helps her out. However that comes back to bite her in the a$$. now she has to reach out to the one person she never wants to talk to or see again.
After 15 years, she has worked hard to not think of him or let him into her world again. However, when she has no choice to talk to him again, everything gets flipped upside down. He is the one guy that she refuses to think about, however he is the reason that she doesn't do relationships, and yet, he is the one she still wants. Trixie refuses to give into him and keep to her own path and life, however that isn't something he is about to let happen.
When everything hits the fan, these two people are going to need each other more than they thought. Things aren't always what they seem. What will happen when everything comes out and hits the fan?? Will they be able to get through without falling apart??
