Top critical review
Some good take-aways, but...

I'm not generally one to write a bad review, and to be honest, I did have some good takeaways from this, but I really don't reading a book that can be summed up in one sentence, and this is one of those books. The subtitle state - elevate your life to elevate your business, and the entire premise of the book is about getting more things done. So what's the approach here to getting more things done? Get up earlier. While that is probably very good advice, and the author does give some good advice on how to develop the 'habit' of getting up earlier to accomplish more, for a small business owner who already works 70 - 80 hours per week and is already getting up at 4:00 a.m., most mornings, that action plan just doesn't work for me.
There are certainly plenty of folks out there that this plan will help, and the author does give sound structure on how to develop and become more productive. Nothing bothers me more than to be visiting one of my stores that open at 9:00 a.m. only to find the store personnel rolling in at 8:55.
The book was well written, but I was looking for more actionable takeaways and for someone such as myself, they just aren't found here.
