4.5 STARS - NASTY VILLAINS
Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2019
This is the 2nd book of the series, and it is very suspenseful. At times, I became upset with the secret's they kept from each other. I especially don't like it when one gets upset when the secret is revealed, but they are holding a secret too, very hypocritical!
In book 1 and also this one, the h's mother gives them a pendant to protect them. I've now read two books in the series, and the pendant hasn't saved either sister from harm. Not sure what good it is - lol.
Our h is very smart and understands political nuisances and guided the H when his temper would get the better of him. They certainly didn't have problems in the bedroom - mildly described - rated 4 out of 5 heat level.
I enjoyed the secondary character's too. The Lord's name is used a few times in vain, so be warned. I did enjoy the ending and epilogue. There isn't any cheating, no cliffhanger for our couple, but you are left wondering about the h's sister (next story is about her). We get HEA, romance builds slowly and as I stated in my Subject line - nasty villains.
I can't improve on the blurb, but just stating what you may get out of reading it. (ljb)
